📒 CONFERENCE PROGRAMME
The CIM is where the metrology community: science, industry, universities and quality infrastructure comes together to shape how the world measures and verifies.
This 23rd edition unfolds over 4 days, with parallel sessions addressing today's global challenges: 200+ oral and poster presentations, 5 round tables, workshop on Quantum technologies, a short course on Food Metrology, and a full calendar of networking events.

Advanced analytical metrology for Food Safety: analysis and harmonization of MOSH/MOAH
Mineral Oil Saturated Hydrocarbons (MOSH) and Mineral Oil Aromatic Hydrocarbons (MOAH) are critical contaminants affecting food safety. Reliable quantification and qualitative characterization present profound analytical challenges and uncertainties, directly impacting regulatory enforcement and putting consumers’ safety at risk. This training course aims at providing a comprehensive view of advanced analytical tools and practices, while bridging the gap between advanced instrumentation and metrological harmonization. The course will offer a condensed, high-value technical deep-dive in the topic, looking to provide best practices, examples and already available research results in food safety matrix analysis and advanced research methods. Moreover an introduction to the EURAMET ScreenFood Project will be provided as an example of ongoing research in the field, project which looks into developing analytical strategies and reference materials supporting food and food packaging industries, targeting the detection and quantification of contaminants in food, with a focus on those possibly migrated from virgin and recycled food packaging materials.
